Der verbesserte iMac bringt neueste Technologie in das unfassbar dünne Design und großartige Display des weltweit führenden Desktopcomputers.

Das 21,5″-Modell sowie das 27″-Modell verfügen über Intel Core i5 Prozessoren mit 2,7 bis 3,4 GHz und – bis auf das kleinste 21,5″-Modell – einem Grafikchip der NVIDIA GeForce 700 Serie mit doppeltem Video-Speicher. Als Konfigurationsoption für noch mehr Leistung steht beim 27″-Spitzenmodell ein Intel Core i7 Prozessoren mit bis zu 3,5 GHz und ein Grafikchip der NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M Serie mit bis zu 4 GB Video-Speicher zur Auswahl. Apple zufolge sollen dadurch Leistungssteigerungen von bis zu 40 Prozent möglich sein.

Das heißt: höhere Bildraten, flüssigere Animationen und ein besseres Reaktionsverhalten bei grafikintensiven Apps wie hochauflösenden Foto- und Videoprogrammen, 3D-Spielen und mehr.
